Sweets - Trivia
CD 2 came inside a denim jeans pocket 'sleeve', with a card insert containing the track listing. A big letter W was stitched into the fabric, causing Wranglers Jeans to complain. This version was subsequently deleted the same week it came out. Making it perhaps one of rarest World of Twist records.
A remix of Sweets was done by A Guy Called Gerald, but was never released.
The sleeve image is of Andy Hobson's Pockets (so it says!). The contents are mostly sweets, but also in there are: a World of Twist cigarette lighter, Night Nurse tablets, a Jimmy Hendrix badge, David Bowie badge, an acid house badge, three Durex condoms (two used?), several 1960's cheesy nude playing cards, and about 7 pounds in loose change.
This Too Shall Pass Away originally appears on The Honeycombs self titled 1964 LP. The Honeycombs were a UK group produced by WOT favorites Joe Meek in the mid Nineteen Sixties. Their most well known hit was the UK No1 'Have I The Right'.
This Too Shall Pass Away (Chat) is an instrumental version of the one that appears on Quality Street LP, over the top there is are various conversations about Joe Meek.
